I am back

Hello dear readers.

I know I’ve been away for a long time. My life changed a little, so I’ve been really busy for the past few months.

I have now the first level of Reiki healing and I started taking yoga classes and getting deep into those subjects, practicing almost every day.

I also started a course of Ayurvedic Massage Therapist, which is almost done, but it gave me a lot to study and to pratice.

All of this, plus my job as a nurse made my days pretty busy. Hospitals in Portugal have been crazy lately. Whenever I had free time, I didn’t want the computer. I wanted to read, be with friends, or simply do nothing in front of the TV and rest for another week of hard work.

I’ve been reading some books and I have some drafts of reviews that I will publish soon. I will also start to post about my recent learnings about Reiki, Yoga, Ayurvedic Medicine, with natural products and tips for health, and all that I think that I must share. I hope you enjoy. My blog will be the same, but with more subjects to read about.

Honey and cinnamon

Facts about honey and cinnamon: It is found that a mixture of honey and cinnamon cure most diseases. Honey is produced in almost all countries of the world. Scientists also accept honey as a ‘Ram Ban’ (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases; it can be used without any side effects.
Science says that even though honey is sweet, if it’s taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm even diabetic patients. Researched by western scientists:
HEART DISEASES: Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder and apply it on bread instead of jelly or jam and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces cholesterol in the arteries and protects the patient from a heart attack. Besides, people who already had an attack, repeating this process daily, are less likely to have another attack. Regular use of the above process decreases loss of breath and strengthens the heartbeat. In America and Canada, various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that with age the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalizes the arteries and veins.
ARTHRITIS: patients with arthritis may take daily (morning and night) one cup of hot water with two tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder. When taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research conducted at Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one honey tablespoon and half cinnamon powder teaspoon before breakfast, they found that within a week (from the 200 persons treated) practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain – and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis have started walking without pain.
BLADDER INFECTIONS: Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.
CHOLESTEROL: Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons cinnamon powder mixed in 16 ml of lukewarm water or tea reduces the cholesterol level in blood by 10% within two hours. As mentioned for patients with arthritis, when taken three times daily, chronic cholesterol is substantially reduced.
COLD: Those suffering from common or severe cold should take one tablespoon of lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon of cinnamon powder daily for three days. This process cures chronic cough and cold.
STOMACH PAIN: Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomach ache and also clears stomach ulcers.
INTESTINAL GAS: According to the studies in India and Japan, honey taken with cinnamon powder reduces the intestinal gas problems.
IMMUNE SYSTEM: Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacterial and viral attacks. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant use of honey strengthens the white blood cells (leucocytes, where DNA is contained) to fight bacterial and viral diseases.
