My opinion:

At first I wasn’t very curious about this book. I thought it couldn’t bring anything new and the last book, Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows, was so perfect to the end the saga that I didn’t want to read anymore books about these characters, thinking it might ruin the stories I love so much. But my curiosity increased every time I saw it in bookstore shelves. My boyfriend gave it to me because he saw me looking at it with lots of questions on my mind, and he knew that by that time I was curious enough about what was happening in Hogwarts to give the book a chance. I don’t know why, but when I felt so happy when I first had the book on my hands, and I read it in about 24 hours! It’s not like the previous Harry Potter books… this one is a play, and it’s also more mature, it’s more for adults, I guess. Thinking about it, it makes sense: many of the people that read the Harry Potter books we teenagers and now they are adults, so they need another type of reading. Well, that’s my opinion… The books followed the readers as we grew older.
I couldn’t put it down and I absolutely loved it. It was so nice to meet the old characters, now grown up. Those characters made part of my life for years when I was younger and we kind of grew up together. I loved to read about them again and I loved the new characters as well. My expectations about the book were kind of low but it surprised me so much… Every time I put the book down, my imagination started running wild about the possible scenarios, jumping from one to the other, and I had to read a little bit more to know what was happening next. I loved the story, I loved the characters, I loved to read about Hogwarts again. It’s original and it brings new stories about that magical place that I love so much and all the people that are related to it. I could read it all over again any time. It was really magical to go back and at the same time read about a different time in Hogwarts. I don’t know if all Harry Potter fans will enjoy this book, but I think it’s worth to try.
